My Students

Are you a parent whose child has a backpack filled with random wrinkled papers? Are you a teacher who hears, "I can't find my worksheet!" daily? Or were you the student who never really developed an organizational system for your work? These dividers are the 1st step to success for my AVID students!

Our students are committed to enrolling in college upon graduation from high school.

They are a part of a college preparatory program designed to meet the needs of the "academic middle" who would ordinarily fall through the cracks in our educational system.

My Project

We are requesting dividers for notebooks, which are an integral part of the AVID program. Student need these in order to keep their classwork organized, which is imperative for academic success! The dividers will allow the students to keep their notes, classwork, and tests in order.

These seem like simple materials, but without access to quality dividers, students are unable to keep their binders in order.

We are able to provide binders for our economically challenged students, but dividers are simply too expensive and difficult to come by. We need your help so all of our students will have the supplies necessary to keep their work (and lives!) in order.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
