My Students

Have you ever seen the excitement on a child's face when they feel proud about one of their accomplishments? Well, I feel very fortunate to see those smiles on a daily basis!! My students are excited about learning. They are especially passionate about reading.

I am a 4th grade teacher in a high needs Title One school district.

I have a fantastic classroom of kids who are eager to learn. They are working very hard to achieve the goals they have set for the year. My students work very hard to be better readers, and I am excited to help them every step of the way on their journey!

My Project

Our class is in need of a few key items to help with our reading and literacy skills. We really need a classroom computer to use so my students can take Accelerated Reader tests, do research, and work on computer-based reading and writing programs. Our current computers do not work properly and are ready for the dumpster! We also need some new books to get my students on their way to becoming better readers. Having a good set of classroom books is extremely important. I want my students to get hooked on reading. I chose books that I know my students will be excited to read.

With these new learning resources, my students will make some great learning gains in reading and literacy.

Please help this enriching learning experience happen. I hope to be able to share the advances my students will be making if I add these valuable products to my curriculum. Thank you for your consideration!
