Biography Books - Students Learning About Real Life!

My students need a library of over 20 biography books that transcends many different cultures and life backgrounds.

I teach 3rd grade, AT RISK students. My kids struggle with all areas of academics in an urban school setting. My class is a combination of low performing and special education students.

My students need ON LEVEL and INTERESTING biography books that will open the door to their inquisitive minds. My students need to experience Biographies. So many of my students read fictional cartoon books that do not dive very deeply into any real realm of literature.

All of the books are chosen for a few different reasons. They are HIGH INTEREST. They are ON LEVEL. And, they are CROSS CULTURAL! Every one of my students will find a book in this collection that will grab their attention and want them to discover more about the person they are reading about.

Help my kids learn to love to read! Expose the kids to VERY important people that have been crucial to the development of society as we know it!
