Well Flip for a Document Camera

My students need a multimedia document camera to support our science and writing programs.

Our school is in a high-needs farming community. We are a third grade classroom that has a very creative and tech savvy teacher who wants to share the world with us.

Most of our students do not have computers at home. We would like to introduce them to the many adventures that the world can provide for them with technology and the world of science, through writing.

We would like a multimedia document camera to be able to share live images using the microscope function of the camera. We also can view text and illustrations found in books to study how science impacts our lives. The students will be able to see written print such as poetry or scientific information, and interact with the text. We will benefit by being able to use this information in our daily lives and build life long experiences.

The jobs of the future are unknown. We would like to expose our children to as many wonders as possible to enrich their lives. Technology will be a major part of the future- we must share as much as we can with all the children. My students will 'flip' when they see their written work projected for all to see and feel super smart!
