The Well-Oiled Machine

My students need assorted items including 15 calculators, pens, a calendar, teacher's planner, disinfecting wipes, and graph paper.

I teach assorted grades from seventh graders to seniors. This is a very rural school district with a high proportion of poverty-home children.

Because of recent state budget cuts, coming up with necessary items has become more difficult. Many students do not own their own calculator, nor can their families afford to purchase items like graph paper.

The math I require of my students is not trigonometric or geometric; the calculators I am requesting will help them compute the real-world situations with which they will be faced. All the classes I teach require certain items to keep things running smoothly. The items I have requested range from classroom calculators to disinfecting wipes. These items keep me and my students organized, healthy, and efficient.
