Let's Get Ready to Learn!!!!

My students need five instant reading learning centers, feathers and tissue paper for art projects, two bean bag chairs to provide a comfortable reading environment in the classroom libraries, magnetic letters to use in an independent literacy workstation where they match upper case to lower case letters and also make Consonant-Vowel-Consonant and high frequency words, and pattern blocks to use in independent math centers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

You can make the difference! Together we can make it happen. All students deserve a fantastic educational experience.

I want to be able to provide the best education to my students as possible. I am a kindergarten teacher in a poverty stricken area. Most of my students come from families that barely have enough money to live or eat. I have even had students who came to school and were living in homeless shelters. Some of my students come from foster care and also from living in safehouses. I usually have a class size of 20 with only on average 3 having some pre - school experience. I want to be able to have my students embrace a love for learning from an early age. You can help me do this by helping me create the perfect fun environment for students to learn and feel safe.

I want to be able to provide my students with the best education possible and an education that they deserve. I have requested magnetic letters and instant Literacy center materials so that I can engage my students in the reading/literacy process. I have also asked for two bean bag chairs so that my students will have a comfortable place to sit while they independently enjoying books in our library center. With your help, I will be able to give my students a fun, interactive, and safe learning environment. Some of the items will help my students to be able to learn on their own and see why learning is fun and not something that you have to do, but something they want to do.

I can, with your help, give these children a chance at a better life. One that all children deserve. Please help me the way I have tried to help them so far. I want to be one of those people who inspire our children to become life long learners. I have helped out financially as much as I can and I am now hoping that I can get others to give to these kid's education. Let's work as a community and empower our youth together!
