I teach 6th grade math in a high-need community with limited access to technology. Many of my students can not afford lunch, much less computers in their home, and it is up to us at school to introduce them to technolgy to prepare them for the 21st century.

We have an Interwrite Board, Responders, and access to math videos that cover the objectives, but the student's access to them is very limited because the only working computer in the class is mine and it contains confidential student information.

My students love and need to get involved in the lesson, rather than sit in the class like a group of lap dogs. The lap top would connect to the Interwrite Board and Responders, and give them access to math lessons on-line. A lap top would take them from lap dogs to top dogs is math!

You can help prepare my high-needs students for the 21st Century, and get them engaged in learning by providing one computer in my class for them to access. With one product I can engage my students with technology and math. Students get excited about technology, let's use it to get them excited about math!
