Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach all subjects in a kindergarten classroom. This year with budget cuts, I will now have 33 students (last year 20). I teach in a high need school.

I have been a teacher for 12 years and have so many cds. I would love to have all of these songs on an ipod. I would no longer have to have kindergarten students wait while I shuffle through my ton of cds trying to find the next song. My little 4 and 5 year old get very antsy waiting.

Having an ipod and a dock with all of my cds on it would solve this problem. There have been many budget cuts in California, there is no point in asking my school for this, as we have no money to even buy supplies sometimes. I am on PTA, when you have a PTA of 3 parents, there is very little fundraising going on, so no use in asking PTA for this item.

Your donation will put music at our fingertips. There will be little wasted time as I find our next song. Music is so important in a kindergarten class, having these items, puts the fun in our class.
