Research has shown the use of instructional technology increases students' abilities to understand content more deeply. My students need a multi-media projector in order to present presentations and increase reading abilities.

One of the biggest obstacles working in a high poverty school is the lack of resources that can be used to increase students' knowledge base. Also, the students in my class demonstrate a level of interest in certain current events.

By receiving a multi-media projector, the students I serve will be better able to function in a 21st century that relies on the use of technology. In addition, my students will be able familiarize themselves with a world outside of their neighborhood.

Your donation will go a long way in improving the educational experience of my students. Each student in my class deserves the highest level of effective teaching available. Please make a difference in my students' lives. Although chalk and talk do have a purpose in a classroom, the use of technology is proven to increase the learning of all students through the use of many aspects that address almost all multiple intelligences.
