My students need the chapter books that I plan to read in school throughout the school year. The books include, "Elijah of Buxton" and "Feathers". I have requested 30 copies of each book.

I am a 5th grade teacher for the School District in Northeast Philadelphia.

My students are relentless about reading chapter books. They love,love, love to sit back and enjoy a great book. The purpose of having a copy for each child is to meet the rigorous demands of our core curriculum's "shared reading" component. I am running out of chapter books to read with this class, and need your support to add to our 5th grade book list.

We are in need of three new chapter books to spruce up our book selection. The new books would provide my class with the opportunity to hear more fabulous books. Shared reading is crucial, but not possible without interesting books.

Your help will ensure that my students are given the opportunity to read...read...read...read. We need the new books because we have a limited amount of class sets at this time. Please help my relentless readers and their passion to read.
