I teach 556 PreK-5 students in our library media center. We have a large number of English Language Learners. Our diverse population of students will benefit from lessons that focus on fluency in speaking and reading.

I love to use Reader's Theater scripts in our library lessons. With our large population of English Language Learners, this format of learning helps with fluency skills both verbally and in reading literacy skills.

When the teams develop their Reader's Theater productions, it would enhance our learning outcomes to be able to create digital movies using the Flip Video cameras. Students will use iMovie software to edit the movie projects. Digital storytelling will also be used to give students experiences with literacy at a cutting edge multimedia level.

Thank you for partnering with us on creating our library media center as a hub for exciting Reader's Theater multimedia learning projects. Our English Language Learners will especially benefit with stronger fluency skills.
