All of my students deal with poverty in the home. The majority are on free and reduced price lunch and lack necessary school supplies. Most of my students speak Spanish at home, so they often struggle with the English language. Unfortunately, most of my students who speak Spanish are not literate in Spanish; therefore making English even more difficult to learn. Despite their struggles, my students are hard-working and hungry to learn.
