My students are always looking for different mediums to express themselves. Due to the expense, photography is something they have not been able to experience. Having these cameras would benefit my students greatly. The photography club would open up their minds to a new creative outlet not yet experienced. At what point does a photo cease to be a picture and become art. My students will learn about photographic composition and where their creativity can expand upon it. My goal is to get them to a place where the camera is an extension to the creative part of their mind and they can see the shot before they look through the lens. The project then continues on the computer in Photoshop where they will try to create something from the photo beyond the original source material.
