I'm in my third year here at our high school and I've made huge changes to our library, increasing the number of graphic novels, adding and improving our selection of hi-lo materials, and, of course, the constant task of improving and upgrading the general collections. Donor's Choose patrons have played a significant role in our library's improvements. Students are beginning to notice the upgrades and improvements and circulation is on the upswing. However, even with improvements, our collection still lags behind where it should in many vital areas, STEM, health, recent social issues and history and geography. Unfortunately, our district has not provided our libraries a consistent and adequate budget since 2009. To meet student and staff demands, help is very much needed. Your generosity will always make a difference.
