The carpet in my classroom has been there since the school opened 11 years ago. It has been through a lot of bodily fluids and the school does not pay to clean it. My classroom flooded several years ago and it seems there might be a little mildew on the bottom of the carpet. The students spend most of our time on the carpet with circle time sitting and learning. They also are napping, without mats at the moment, on the old carpet. I would love nothing better than to replace it for them. I pay to laminate the name tags and signs for the students to use so that every day they will have the tools they need to succeed in class. Having the laminator is also very important. The laminator at our school was donated when our school opened and does not laminate well. My students use name tags to help choose their centers and their name tags are constantly peeling and falling apart. I would like to have a more reliable way to help them feel successful.
