My students thrive when given the ability to explore their sensory needs in the classroom. This time allows them to regain their focus so they can complete their learning tasks. Having the four sensory tables, that are movable, will allow for different sensory activities to take place that meet my students individual needs. They will also allow the opportunity for my students to move away from their academic area and into a different part of the classroom as well as allowing access for my students whom use a wheelchair. The ability to meet the individual sensory needs will greatly increase my student's ability to focus on their learning and achieve great things. These bins will be used on a daily basis and, I know, my students will greatly enjoy the opportunity to increase their sensory input.
