Statistics is becoming a strong force in analyzing the top trends in the world. From all media outlets and many industries, the focus on data has increased. In my class, we study the research behind the best methods for educational practices. We analyze and predict player match ups and lineups in professional sports. We discuss public policy and law, and we predict new trends in business. We have worked on activities and projects involving simulating the Super Bowl, election, and projects on climate change and student's reactions to new changes from the School District of Philadelphia. Therefore, I am requesting this set of calculators since I do have enough calculators in my classroom for all of my students to be successful. Explaining statistics in practical terms is our goal each day. The addition of this technology would give my students the opportunity to meet this goal.
