I have a group of twenty-seven, energetic, and very creative fifth graders. Inside my class I have a very eclectic group which includes students on free and reduced lunches, students with learning disabilities and ADHD, students who are in the GATE program, English language learners, foster children, students from single parent families, and students with all different learning abilities. Although these are things that my students are identified as, in my eyes my students are children who want to learn, be cared for, do the best they can in everything they try, and just want to have fun. I believe that they should be given every opportunity that life has to offer them. These are my students and my goal is to provide them with the life long skills and tools to be successful and become life long learners.
