Our school is located in a rural community and serves approximately 500 students in grades K4-5th grade. Although our building was first constructed in 1959 and looks somewhat dated on the outside, the inside is beautiful. Scenes of fairy tales, a map of South Carolina, beautiful water scenes, and store front shops are painted on every inch of every hallway. In addition to the beautiful paintings are the smiling faces of our students. Our students can best be described as loving, generous, and eager to please. Of our 500 students 262 qualify for free school meals while 53 qualify for reduced meals. Despite a student population that is primarily in the lower socioeconomic range our students work hard and understand that education is a tool that can help them succeed. Although our students work hard, there is one group whooo needs a little help.
