My students attend an urban public high school in Worcester, Massachusetts. We created this course as an open enrollment course, so that underrepresented minority students would have an opportunity to experience how AP classes are different. Hopefully through their success in the course, they will be inspired to take other AP courses and even start thinking about being the first member of their family to earn a college education.
