The students were thrilled to see a cozy new spot added to our library, and many eagerly took turns sitting there with a book in hand. It has quickly become the most popular place in the room to curl up with a good story, making independent reading time feel even more special. The headphones and storage bags have also been a huge help, giving students the tools they need to focus during reading centers and digital literacy activities while keeping everything neat and organized.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching a group of students gathered around the reading bench, swapping recommendations and talking about their favorite books. It was exactly the kind of joyful, book-centered community I hoped to create. With the headphones, students have been able to work on personalized reading programs without distraction, which allows me to give more targeted support to small groups.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue to be central to our reading block. Students are currently working on a reading project where they select books at their level, listen to audiobooks with their new headphones, and share their reflections with classmates. The bench has become the perfect space for them to do this work. Thanks to your support, our classroom library is not only better equipped but also a place that sparks excitement, focus, and a love for reading every single day.","fullyFundedDate":1746555581259,"projectUrl":"project/bench-bags-brainpower/9325190/","projectTitle":"Bench, Bags & Brainpower!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Page","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3478719"},{"teacherId":3478719,"projectId":9295949,"letterContent":"I want to sincerely thank you for your generosity in helping us purchase a Chromebook cart for our classroom. This addition has already made such a positive difference for both students and myself. The cart allows us to keep all of our Chromebooks organized in one place, which has helped minimize distractions and maximize learning time. Having a reliable space to store the devices also helps us take better care of them, ensuring they'll last longer and be used by many students in the years to come.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest benefits has been the charging capability of the cart. Before, it was a challenge to make sure all devices were charged and ready for use each day. Now, students can easily return their Chromebook at the end of class and know that it will be ready for them the next morning. This consistency has made lessons run more smoothly and has given students more opportunities to focus on their learning instead of technology issues.\r\n\r\nOur entire class is so grateful for your support in making this possible. The Chromebook cart has quickly become one of the most valuable tools in our room, and we truly could not have made it happen without you.
