Your support helps us build vibrant classroom libraries that spark curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nEarly literacy is a cornerstone of school readiness and academic success. Because of your kindness, our students have access to high-quality, age-appropriate books that inspire joy, encourage exploration, and strengthen early language development. These books will be cherished by many little hands and eager minds.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your investment in our children's futures. The children felt appreciated and seen knowing that people outside their school and community care so much about them to have donated money for them. We learned about clay and how it comes from the earth and has been material used for thousands of years to create vessels for day to day life and beauty. Children learned more about emotional trauma and emotional release through therapy arts. \r\nThe clay therapy has been an informative and successful practice. I work with the students for about 60 minutes in a quiet and calm setting for the restorative practice to feel safe and welcoming. The children have been able to receive one interactive time with the clay and the goal is 8-10 sessions.","fullyFundedDate":1739455247477,"projectUrl":"project/healing-through-clay/8883942/","projectTitle":"Healing Through Clay","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Sandrock","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8628299_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741814641384","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8628299"},{"teacherId":8628299,"projectId":6809045,"letterContent":"The scholars are benefitting from you!
