The extra snacks have already been a huge help. Having snacks available for students ensures that they can stay focused and ready to learn throughout the school day, especially on those days when they may have forgotten a snack or are feeling extra hungry.\r\n\r\nThe small-group materials, including the lined whiteboards and dry erase markers, have also been put to great use. We use them during phonics, reading, and math small groups so students can practice new skills, show their thinking, and make corrections in a hands-on way. My students were so excited to see the new whiteboards and markers and immediately wanted to get started!\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue using these materials throughout our small-group instruction as we work on building foundational reading, writing, and math skills. These resources may seem simple, but they make a big difference in keeping my students engaged, supported, and ready to learn. Thank you so much for helping provide these materials and making our classroom an even better place to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1778810934231,"projectUrl":"project/small-group-materials-extra-snacks/10268863/","projectTitle":"Small Group Materials & Extra Snacks","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6513735_orig.png?crop=1080,1080,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1561763488278","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6513735"},{"teacherId":2988192,"projectId":10357213,"letterContent":"Words can not express the graditute the students and I have for this gracious donation to the class. The students were so please with the gifts to the classroom they wanted to stay in and play with them instead of going outside to play. Now I also use them every morning for a quick warmup to get the students ready for a busy day of learning and working together. Here is how the activities help my students.\r\n\r\nMagnetic building tiles can have a positive impact on the classroom because they encourage students to be creative and use their problem-solving skills. Students can build different shapes, structures, and designs while practicing math, science, and spatial skills. Working with the tiles can also help students learn to cooperate, share materials, and communicate their ideas with classmates.\r\n\r\nBoard games can also make the classroom a more fun and engaging place to learn. Many games help students practice skills such as counting, reading, strategy, critical thinking, and following directions. Playing together teaches students how to take turns, be patient, and handle both winning and losing. Overall, magnetic building tiles and board games can support learning while helping students develop important social and problem-solving skills.","fullyFundedDate":1783537057223,"projectUrl":"project/rainy-day-play-activities/10357213/","projectTitle":"Rainy Day Play Activities","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Glaser","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2988192_orig.jpg?crop=2080,2080,x1017,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1782685639878","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2988192"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_37612","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":296,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":67,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":79,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":5,"gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"11.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":87.0,"schoolId":37612,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about J.F.
