I have had some great participation from my students. More of my reluctant students have been participating by raising their hand and sharing their thinking. Some have been volunteering to have their work showcased under the document camera for other students to analyze or help determine where an error in their thinking occurred. \r\n\r\nI love seeing all the different ways students are willing to share in class with a little motivation. Students are starting to feel more comfortable showcasing their errors as well. We look for common mistakes or misconceptions made by students so students can correct their thinking and learn from their mistakes. \r\n\r\nThe chromebook/water bottle stickers have been motivating too. Once students complete 6 virtual lessons they get to choose a chromebook sticker. This is helping students get logged on quickly and use their whole time practicing skills.
