We have been using the materials in interactive speech therapy sessions where students mold shapes and characters that correspond to vocabulary words and speech sounds. One memorable moment was when a student who is usually shy and hesitant eagerly crafted a \"story character\" out of Play-Doh and confidently practiced the related words with the class. This hands-on approach has made speech practice fun and meaningful, boosting both their communication skills and self-confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the Play-Doh materials, their eyes lit up with excitement! They were curious and eager to explore the different colors and tools, which created a positive and motivating atmosphere in the classroom. This enthusiasm has carried over into their daily lessons, making speech exercises something they look forward to completing. Thanks to your kindness, you are opening new doors for my students to communicate and connect with others in joyful, imaginative ways.","fullyFundedDate":1749822088561,"projectUrl":"project/doh-licious-learning-lets-get-creative/9314911/","projectTitle":"Doh-licious Learning: Let’s Get Creative with Play-Doh!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tame","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2049107_orig.jpg?crop=239,239,x63,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746107488316","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2049107"},{"teacherId":2049107,"projectId":9320450,"letterContent":"I want to sincerely thank you for funding the \"TPT Treasure Hunt\" project with a $100 gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers. This generous support has made a tremendous impact on my elementary speech therapy students. The technology and materials purchased have allowed us to integrate engaging, interactive resources that meet each student's unique needs. Many of my students are excited to use these tools because they combine learning with fun, which helps keep them motivated and focused during their sessions.\r\n\r\nWhile many donors may be familiar with technology at home, the specialized use of these digital resources in the classroom is truly transformative. The technology supports personalized learning by providing visual and auditory cues, interactive games, and practice activities designed specifically for speech development. This hands-on approach helps students better understand and practice speech sounds, vocabulary, and language skills in a way that feels playful rather than like traditional therapy. The ability to adapt resources quickly to each student's progress keeps them engaged and eager to return.\r\n\r\nOne of the most rewarding parts has been seeing particular students who were once hesitant or frustrated with speech practice now eagerly participating. For example, a few shy students have warmed to the interactive activities, using the technology to express themselves more confidently. The instant feedback and colorful, game-like formats have helped build their confidence and communication skills. Your generosity has truly opened new doors for these young learners, and I am deeply grateful for your support in making speech therapy an inspiring and joyful experience.","fullyFundedDate":1747167762465,"projectUrl":"project/tpt-treasure-hunt-help-us-find-the-best/9320450/","projectTitle":"TPT Treasure Hunt: Help Us Find the Best Resources","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tame","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2049107_orig.jpg?crop=239,239,x63,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746107488316","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2049107"},{"teacherId":533575,"projectId":9027508,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the adaptive resources that you helped fund for our classroom. The organizational resources have been invaluable in our small space. The colorful trays provide each student a place to keep workbooks, journals and other supplies while still looking organized. This has really helped us save time and space in our classroom - two things that are so important with first graders. \r\n\r\nWe utilize the folders and writing journals daily as well. The folders are sturdy and have held up wonderfully as students use them daily for reading stations to keep their work organized and safe.
