The students really enjoyed the variety of choices they had when \"spending\" the points they earned. They were more apt to participate and learn. I feel the students scored higher and even the reluctant learners made progress.\r\n\r\nAlthough I supply food and drink, it is nice to have choices for students that are not interested in those. The especially enjoyed the color changing putty and the lego characters.\r\n\r\nSome students saved hundreds of points to buy the bigger objects. Some students saved points to buy items for their siblings, which was sweet to watch. My students were so excited when they found out they'd be receiving new testing dividers. Our old ones were a few years old and made of cardboard, so there were quite a few drawings that were difficult to erase. The new dividers are sturdier and easier to clean, which makes it easy to block out distractions for my students.\r\n\r\nMy students have loved using the new dividers. They've used them on multiple chapter tests, and we've even been able to use them on our state test as well. The students love that they're able to feel private when taking their tests. They can block out what's going on around them and focus on their tests.\r\n\r\nDue to your generous donation, my students and I are able to focus on what really matters: trying our hardest without having to worry about what others think of us. Not only were they proud to have their personal headphones for my class, they will benefit greatly. Much of our instruction requires listening to passage and answering questions. It was always chaotic when there were multiple students playing the audio out loud from their chromebook.
