These materials are instrumental in my students' overall academic success. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students' ability to learn. The new headphones organizer helped promote organization and have created a more orderly structure in our classroom environment, allowing students to concentrate on their tasks. \r\nYour generosity has empowered my students to take charge of their own learning, giving them the tools they need to succeed in our classroom. The test privacy folders are such an effective way to maintain academic integrity and my students are not anxious during assessments. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, integrating coloring books into the class routine offers a valuable opportunity for stress relief after the test. This definitely provides a calming, mindful activity that helps students transition from the intensity of an assessment to a more relaxed, creative state.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is a powerful reminder of how much our community values education, and we are so grateful for your support. This year, I was able to provide folders for all my students to keep track of their graded assignments in class. I was more easily and effectively to design my whiteboard, bookshelves, and stations around the classroom to meet my students' needs. Because of the supplies provided, routines have been smoother and provided students a sense of security--therefore enabling them to learn better.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, ALL of my students have been able to access audiobooks and i-Ready Reading lessons because of my sets of headphones that are now available to them. I designed a number system and a job system to hold them accountable for treating the headphones with respect, and they have been doing a great job! They all take responsibility for the collective well-being of my class headphones, which is an important social skill to learn in middle school. Students who are learning English or who are below grade level in reading can now use the headphones to listen and follow along at the same time, building their literacy skills, and all my students can enjoy reading in a quiet, calm environment. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation on their behalf. It has truly made a huge difference in my classroom this year, and we wouldn't be where we are without your support!","fullyFundedDate":1748367516941,"projectUrl":"project/setting-students-up-for-reading-success/9323354/","projectTitle":"Setting Students up for Reading Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mrochek","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10016851"},{"teacherId":10053047,"projectId":9692499,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for providing us with these beautiful classroom carpet. It has become a valuable tool for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. It allows me to have a designated space where students can gather for activities like restorative justice circles, which are a powerful way to address conflicts and build community. Within this space we have right now, my 6th graders can engage in open and honest dialogue, promoting empathy and understanding. The physical act of sitting together on the same level can help break down barriers and create a sense of equality, making it easier for students to connect with one another and their teacher.\r\n\r\nBeyond conflict resolution, a classroom carpet can also support a wide range of team-building and social-emotional learning (SEL) activities. For example, it provides a central location for morning meetings, read-alouds, and group discussions. This has been very instrumental in encouraging collaboration and active listening. Additionally, it also offers a soft and comfortable area for quiet time or individual reflection, providing a sense of security and calm. By intentionally having this space for these practices, the classroom carpet certainly helped my 6th grade students develop crucial skills like self-awareness, social awareness, and responsible decision-making, all of which are essential for academic success and personal growth.","fullyFundedDate":1757518380742,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-carpet-for-restorative-circle/9692499/","projectTitle":"Classroom Carpet for restorative Circle and Team Building Activities.","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Candol","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10053047_orig.jpg?crop=1175,1175,x0,y15&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753894511219","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10053047"},{"teacherId":10053047,"projectId":9517405,"letterContent":"To our generous donors, we thank you for your donation of headphones for our classroom.
