It is a fun way to hear stories where I am not personally reading, giving a different voice to listen to. I wouldn't have been able to receive it without your help. I was able to receive many stories from different genres and store them in a carrying case. In the center, the children can listen, six at a time.\r\n\r\nWhen I first opened the package and pulled out the small cube, the children were very intrigued and began asking lots of questions. They thought it was really neat that a tiny box and a plastic card could make stories come out of the speakers. They also really liked it because it wasn't my voice they always heard.\r\n\r\nThis center was a lot of fun. I told the children to get comfortable and listen to the stories, but most sat straight up in anticipation to the story. They now ask to listen to stories and I love it.\r\n\r\nThank you again for contributing to my little learners and giving them a new way of learning, where they can practice expanding their minds.","fullyFundedDate":1758819052218,"projectUrl":"project/listening-center-for-little-learners/9685688/","projectTitle":"Listening Center for Little Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Thompson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1727971_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751403961099","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1727971"},{"teacherId":4373264,"projectId":9527125,"letterContent":"Thank you for your extreme kindness. It is beautiful and so soft, and I wouldn't have been able to receive it without your help. There are thirty different places for the students to sit (on colored paint cans and colored shapes), so I can spread the kids out for less distraction. Each student has their assigned shape or paint can that they must sit at when we start carpet time in the mornings.\r\n When I first opened the rug and rolled it out, the kids all wanted to run over and feel the texture. They thought it was really neat and began hopping on the different shapes and yelling out what they were. They also really liked it because it was bigger than our last rug.\r\n I plan on continuing to use the rug every morning for carpet time. We take turns talking and also reviewing letters and sounds, sight words, and do morning phonics exercises out of our Heggerty book. We also play games, have a listening center, and do small groups on the rug.\r\n Thank you again for contributing to my little learners and giving them a new, comfortable, and colorful rug where they can practice expanding their minds.","fullyFundedDate":1753388385726,"projectUrl":"project/a-new-colorful-classroom-rug/9424566/","projectTitle":"A New Colorful Classroom Rug!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Thompson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1727971_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1751403961099","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1727971"},{"teacherId":4373264,"projectId":9125803,"letterContent":"Thank you for allowing me to provide books to my students.
