Each package has encouraging statements written on them and a place for me to write a special note1 I LOVE to see the positive impact that a short note of encouragement has on both students and staff! \r\nI am able to purchase seasonal manipulatives using the Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. Students LOVE to color and this teacher LOVES to attach learning to the fun. Students will have color by number sheets wherein they must solve math problems in order to decode the picture. Math made FUN! \r\nI have heard several students state that they do not like math. I will be using your donation to infuse FUN into their core and intervention classes. \r\nThank you again for your continued support of my students. The funds were already in my account from a previous project that was funded. I was very happy to find a use for every dollar that was generously donated. The funds were transferred to gift cards for TPT where I continue to find amazing manipulatives for my students. \r\nFor example, doodle notes for any content are a wonderful tool since my students would prefer not to take every note by hand. Also, my students love to do color by number sheets at the end of a lesson. With 25 copies of Black Coal and Red Bandanas, every student can follow along, annotate, and engage deeply with stories that reflect their own communities and family histories. For many of my students, this is the first time they have seen their home state's struggles and triumphs represented so powerfully in a book.\r\n\r\nThe additional supplies you provided have made an immediate difference in our daily learning. The binders, pencils, and zipper pouches help students stay organized and prepared, while disinfectant wipes allow us to share materials throughout the year safely. The headphones have been especially impactful, enabling students to focus during independent and small-group reading, build fluency, and engage with texts at their own pace without distractions.\r\n\r\nYour support has done more than provide materials—it has shown my students that their education and their stories matter. By combining literacy skills with West Virginia history, students gain confidence as readers and develop a greater sense of pride in their heritage.
