These items helped create and replenish needed resources for a \"thinking\" classroom- one where students utilize non-permanent surfaces, such as dry erase boards, to work on mathematics. The dry-erase pocket sleeves also provide students with a non-permanent surface to work on worksheets, challenges, and the coordinate plane. Because we use dry erase markers so frequently, they can quickly dry out. This project helped stock our classroom supply.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we regularly use task cards in our thinking classroom. They kids have loved learning the \"Pumpkin Spice Canon\" these last couple of weeks, and I can't wait to introduce them \"The Ghost of John\" next week. It's a perfect song to engage them this time of year.\r\n\r\nI was also able to purchase a Halloween Music Rhythm Bingo game and a Rhythm Spider craft for my elementary students.
