The book vending machine is one, small, but expensive way to help make birthdays more exciting.\r\n Each day, during our morning announcements, we announce birthdays. The entire school hears the announcement, and afterward, the birthday students get to come down to get a coin and claim their book. I always enjoy watching them scan over all of the books, trying to decide what they want. And the best part of all, is the smile on their face when they reach down and pull out their book.
