Although I originally purchased these tools for my new classroom next year, my current students were eager to explore them right away! Their excitement and curiosity were wonderful to see.\r\n\r\nWe have already begun using the STEM bins during morning work after breakfast and as activities for early finishers. The students especially love the various sets of Mine Magnet World blocks. They have enjoyed building, experimenting, collaborating, and using their creativity in new ways. These activities have encouraged problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on learning opportunities that are so valuable for young learners.\r\n\r\nNext year, with my third grade students, these STEM tools will become an important part of our classroom routine. The book vending machine is one, small, but expensive way to help make birthdays more exciting.\r\n Each day, during our morning announcements, we announce birthdays. The entire school hears the announcement, and afterward, the birthday students get to come down to get a coin and claim their book. I always enjoy watching them scan over all of the books, trying to decide what they want. And the best part of all, is the smile on their face when they reach down and pull out their book.
