Your donation has made a meaningful difference in creating a positive and enriching learning environment for my students.\r\n\r\nThe containers in our classroom help keep materials neatly stored, preventing clutter and creating a more efficient and welcoming environment. I label containers with both pictures and words to help children learn where items belong. This system supports my preschoolers in taking ownership of their learning by retrieving and putting away materials independently. By incorporating containers into my classroom centers, I'm able to support a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters both independence and responsibility.\r\n\r\nMy students were very curious and excited! Many students immediately began asking what was inside each container, and once they realized they could access materials on their own, they eagerly began exploring. It was wonderful to see them take initiative—picking out blocks, and art supplies independently. They even started reminding each other where things belonged at clean-up time, showing a real sense of pride and ownership over their learning space.","fullyFundedDate":1746785509453,"projectUrl":"project/setting-them-up-for-success-in-preschool/9147741/","projectTitle":"Setting Them Up for Success in Preschool and Beyond!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8723342_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y256&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1664024552703","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8723342"},{"teacherId":8526952,"projectId":9146064,"letterContent":"On behalf of my students and me, I want to extend our sincerest gratitude for your generous donation, which helped purchase new art supplies. Thanks to donors like you, we are able to provide a vibrant and well-equipped art environment for all our learners. For this grant, I focused a large part of the budget on building my Spanish library for my 0-3 caseload. As soon as the books came in, they started getting use! Parents were excited to have material in Spanish and also culturally relevant topics that they could connect too. Children/families come into my office and read the books and pick new ones to use! These bins have already made a tremendous difference in the way my students engage with learning. Before, we relied on limited resources and often struggled to find hands-on activities that truly sparked their curiosity. Now, thanks to your kindness, my students have access to a wealth of engaging materials that encourage exploration, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Seeing their faces light up as they build, experiment, and discover is truly inspiring, and it's all thanks to you.\r\nThe STEM bins have been fostering the love of learning in each student. This will likely stay with them and support them for the years to come. These activities that I have chosen for the students will not be \"toys\" but a way for them to build a sense of science, technology, engineering, and math. I've witnessed incredible moments of collaboration as children work together to construct bridges, design simple machines, and explore the properties of different materials. They are learning valuable skills like communication, teamwork, and perseverance, all while having fun and developing a genuine passion for STEM subjects. Your contribution is an investment in their future, and I am so grateful for your belief in the power of hands-on learning.\r\nThank you again for your kindness and for making a tangible difference in the lives of my kindergarteners.
