Your donation has made a meaningful difference in creating a positive and enriching learning environment for my students.\r\n\r\nThe containers in our classroom help keep materials neatly stored, preventing clutter and creating a more efficient and welcoming environment. I label containers with both pictures and words to help children learn where items belong. This system supports my preschoolers in taking ownership of their learning by retrieving and putting away materials independently. By incorporating containers into my classroom centers, I'm able to support a structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters both independence and responsibility.\r\n\r\nMy students were very curious and excited! Many students immediately began asking what was inside each container, and once they realized they could access materials on their own, they eagerly began exploring. It was wonderful to see them take initiative—picking out blocks, and art supplies independently. They even started reminding each other where things belonged at clean-up time, showing a real sense of pride and ownership over their learning space.","fullyFundedDate":1746785509453,"projectUrl":"project/setting-them-up-for-success-in-preschool/9147741/","projectTitle":"Setting Them Up for Success in Preschool and Beyond!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rodriguez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8723342_orig.jpg?crop=1536,1536,x0,y256&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1664024552703","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8723342"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_97039","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":461,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":94,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - Pre-K","studentTeacherRatio":"13.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":72.3,"schoolId":97039,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Sun Valley Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Sun Valley Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/sunnyside-school-district-201/sun-valley-elementary-school/97039"}
