All of the items have been in use by my students since the day they were delivered. \r\n\r\nThe play doh is used in multiple ways. Students use it during small group reading centers as a tactile way separate sounds in words. It is also used as a break option for students who are feeling overwhelmed or as a \"fidget\" for students who need help focusing. It is also a popular option during free choice time for students to build and create with. \r\n\r\nThe fuzzy floor seats are great for defining personal space and my students love that they are so soft. They are using them when I read to them each day and also during silent reading time when they can read around the room. \r\n\r\nThe small chart paper has been perfect for creating anchor charts for our classroom. It is the perfect size for us to hang on our classroom cupboards. The first thing we used it for was defining our school and classseoom expectations and listing ways we can meet them. \r\n\r\nI know these may seem like small impacts but they truly make a difference in our classroom. They help us build community and encourage students to take ownership in our classroom. These small things are what make a big difference in student engagement and motivation to learn each day.
