I know the Holiday Season is full of giving, prepping and planning. I hope you have a moment to read about the gratitude that I feel toward you for helping my students and I.\r\n\r\nYou may not realize that children ages 3-6 often learn best through hands on play and real life experiences. To mimic this type of learning in a classroom setting requires a large amount of manipulatives, hands on play and dramatic play items. Your donations this fall went directly to these types of materials for my students. YOU have enriched and enhanced their learning in meaningful and impactful ways. Thank you, \r\n\r\nMy students love the talking buttons that we use as we learn our letter of the week. I speak instructions for their letter related task into the button. At center time they press the button for instructions and then engage in the activity. This allows them to feel independent in their learning. Additionally, we use the 'abc' beads you helped purchase to learn about our letters through matching and namin. We use them in a variety of ways, including with fine motor. This then impacts their writing ability too! Your donation is impacting every part of our learning!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for taking the time to donate to my classroom, for your kind messages and your support.
