Through hands-on exploration, students discovered what owls eat and how food chains and ecosystems are connected. Dissecting the owl pellets allowed them to apply science skills such as observation, classification, and inference in a meaningful, real-world context. \r\n\r\nThe excitement in the classroom was evident as students uncovered tiny bones and identified the animals owls prey upon. Following the dissection, students researched owl habitats and created informative posters that highlighted their learning about owl behavior and the importance of balanced ecosystems. This experience fostered curiosity, collaboration, and scientific thinking. \r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful to all the donors who made this project possible—your generosity provided an unforgettable, authentic science opportunity. Without your support, this hands-on exploration and the valuable learning it inspired would not have been possible. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1756387038784,"projectUrl":"project/owl-pellets/9609720/","projectTitle":"Owl Pellets","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9326156_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720466171597","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9326156"},{"teacherId":9163064,"projectId":8935150,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping with this project. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom through Donor's Choose. Your support has made a significant difference in the lives of my students, and I want to share how your contributions are being utilized!\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, we have been able to enhance our literary skills through engaging novel studies. These studies not only foster a love for reading but also develop critical thinking and comprehension skills. The novels we are exploring together have opened up new worlds for my students, encouraging them to analyze characters, themes, and narrative structures more deeply.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the post-it whiteboards you helped fund have transformed our collaborative learning environment. Students are now able to brainstorm, share ideas, and engage in group discussions more effectively. This tool has empowered them to express their thoughts visually and work together in ways that promote teamwork and creativity.\r\n\r\nMoreover, the kickbands you provided have been a game changer for my classroom management. These allow students to channel their energy positively, helping them focus better during lessons. It's wonderful to see how these tools have not only improved their classroom behavior but also contributed to a more dynamic and interactive learning atmosphere.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has had a profound impact, and I cannot thank you enough for believing in our students and supporting our educational journey. I look forward to sharing more updates about our progress and the continued impact of your donation.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1735660989586,"projectUrl":"project/fidget-to-focus-foster-the-love-of-rea/8921588/","projectTitle":"Fidget to Focus - Foster the Love of Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wasson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9827050"},{"teacherId":9067763,"projectId":8129926,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my classroom.
