Because of you, my students now have the freedom to choose where and how they learn best. These options have transformed our classroom into a space that's more engaging, comfortable, and student-centered.\r\nThe excitement on their faces when we set up the new seating was priceless! They take so much pride in their learning environment and are already showing more focus, collaboration, and joy during lessons.\r\nYour kindness and belief in our classroom community have made a lasting difference. Every time they came into Music class they asked, \"Is the rug here?\" \"When is it coming?\" It is not an exaggeration to say they were very excited! I had showed them a picture and they wanted to know how big it was, how much room it would take up, and what they symbols all meant. I was excited they were already intrigued and interested in learning more.\r\n\r\nThe first group of students who saw the rug were actually going to another classroom across the hall. Someone enthusiastically said, \"Oh, the rug came!\" Students ran to the window and doorway to ooh and ahh. They couldn't wait until Music class! As classes came in, we talked about the symbols on the carpet and students used the posters around the room to help them figure many of them out. They were making connections to prior lessons and demonstrated pride in their knowledge. \r\n\r\nDuring lessons I have used the various music symbols, but my favorite part is the treble clef in the middle. It has helped students understand beats per measure and naming the notes. We also have a violin program before school and that teacher is using it too! While working on naming the notes, my third graders tossed bean bags on the carpet to try and hit the right note. What an engaging way for them to learn!\r\n\r\nThis rug is a constant reminder of the music vocabulary and concepts. I am so grateful for your generosity and how it will shape my student's learning. Unfortunately, I am unable to take pictures with my students in them, but I took a before and after photo. I think you will agree that it made an amazing difference!","fullyFundedDate":1752586568693,"projectUrl":"project/music-inspires-creativity-community/9418166/","projectTitle":"Music Inspires Creativity & Community","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Solack","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10057841_orig.jpg?crop=1025,1025,x0,y133&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750212436090","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10057841"},{"teacherId":4069256,"projectId":9137990,"letterContent":"Thank so much for your contributions to our project!
