Unfortunately, after this project was funded my district decided to block our use of Mystery Science. We were so disappointed. This didn't stop us from wanting to \"bump up\" our science program. Thanks to you, we've been able to get resources that our students wouldn't have had access to.\r\nScience should be exciting for students. That sense of discovery and amazement is what captures their attention. With the materials that we received from this project, we've been doing some special \"tinkering\" projects where students use growth mindset to solve a variety of problems. They've designed \"tall hats\", built Olaf nightlights, built a chair for Goldilocks and Baby Bear, and a beanstalk tall enough to reach the giant (Jack and the Beanstalk). Here it is April already! The supplies that this project helped us get have been invaluable this year. We use something from this project every day. Our Colors of the World crayons are especially important to us!\r\nThe students love having their own watercolor sets. It's hard to share when someone else might mess up the colors that you tried so hard to keep neat. Now they don't have to worry about that!\r\nWe use our journals regularly to record ideas and activities that are happening in our lives. The students love looking back through the months. They are already amazed at their progress. This will be such a special book for families to keep.\r\nThank you again for seeing the value in students having quality materials to use at school.
