Having a wide variety of books is so helpful for my students. They are diverse learners who benefit from variety in size and type of books, and they have many varied interests. We have been able to target both speech sounds and expanded language with the help of these books. One Duck Stuck has allowed us to practice the \"st\" sound at the beginning of \"stuck\", the \"k\" sound at the end of \"duck\", and answer a variety of open ended or yes/no questions about the story to show their understanding/learning. \r\n\r\nThe poke-a-dot book helped engage a preschool student who lingered with the book for several minutes pushing the buttons.
