Many of these tools are portable and we can use them in a variety of locations and bring them to different locations for support on the go. For my students with limited speech they are able to enjoy these materials and use the visuals to participate with all of their peers. The different tools for a variety of tactile input is helpful to introduce different textures not only for sensory input but for science lessons as we explore how things feel.
