During those days, they studied the life cycle of a chicken and followed the step by step process of chicken development. These days of excitement and learning will never be forgotten!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, they were ecstatic. Parents gave feedback stating their children were talking about what they learned each day. They especially loved the step by step hands on eggs that they looked forward to checking each day. \r\nIn addition to handling and looking at these items, they recreated them in their science journals. \r\n\r\nThe incubator provided the opportunity for students to candle the eggs and see movement and development prior to hatch day. They were MESMERIZED. This has helped all students but especially those with ADHD or other high sensory needs. It has been highly enjoyable to see my students benefit from this project.\r\n\r\nThey may never want to sit on a stationary chair ever again.
