This xylophone is more than just an instrument—it's a symbol of inclusion, joy, and belonging. It allows students of all abilities to participate side by side, creating meaningful moments of connection, creativity, and fun. Your generosity has made a real, everyday difference for my students.\r\n\r\nThe dividers have been incredibly helpful. My learners are easily distracted, and these have allowed us to create clear, defined spaces that support focus and independence. They are also very durable, which matters in a classroom where students are still learning how to regulate their bodies and emotions. Even during those tougher moments, the dividers have held up and continued to serve their purpose. I also appreciate how easy they are to move, so we can adjust our space based on student needs throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThe bins have brought a level of organization that we truly needed. They give us a consistent place to store calm-down tools, which helps students quickly find what they need to regulate. They also hold learning materials and fidgets, allowing students to keep their hands busy in a safe and appropriate way while staying engaged in their work.\r\n\r\nAnd the fruit snacks were a huge hit. They were a crowd favorite and gave students something fun to look forward to. Having a small, sweet reward after working hard goes a long way in building motivation and celebrating their efforts.\r\nBecause of your support, my students have a more structured, supportive, and positive learning environment. We are so grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1768486439477,"projectUrl":"project/helping-every-child-learn-in-their-own-s/9763904/","projectTitle":"Helping Every Child Learn in Their Own Space","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Meines","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10287560"},{"teacherId":10176297,"projectId":9593518,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your incredible generosity and support of our school. Every single supply we received has made a meaningful and lasting impact on our classrooms and our students.\r\n\r\nThe disinfectant wipes have helped us keep our learning spaces clean and germ-free, which is especially important during the busiest sick seasons. The Play-Doh has been a wonderful addition to our sensory rooms and social-emotional classrooms, giving students who need a moment to decompress a hands-on tool to reset and successfully return to learning. Of course, the crayons, glue sticks, and art supplies have brought so much creativity to our classrooms—allowing students to engage in hands-on learning through art, projects, and imagination.\r\n\r\nAs you can see in the attached photos, both students and teachers were absolutely thrilled when the supplies arrived. The excitement and gratitude were immediate, and it truly made our classrooms sparkle a little more.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, our school has made it a priority for every classroom to have a calming corner or sensory area to support students when they need a brain break. Over the past month, we've been building these spaces using the yoga posters and hands-on sensory tools you helped provide. These calming corners are already making a positive difference in helping students regulate their emotions and return to learning ready and focused.\r\n\r\nWe also restocked our PAWSITIVITY project treasure bin with many of the fun and encouraging items you donated—like the \"You Can Do Hard Things\" pencils and other rewards. These items are used to celebrate kindness, effort, and students who go the extra mile, reinforcing positive behaviors throughout our school.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has directly touched the lives of our students and staff, and we are so grateful for your support. Thank you for believing in our school and helping us create a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1758835680726,"projectUrl":"project/sparkling-spaces-creative-minds/9593518/","projectTitle":"Sparkling Spaces + Creative Minds!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hill","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10176297_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759274552645","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10176297"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_55282","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":530,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":51,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":64,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"13.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":63.9,"schoolId":55282,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Maple Grove School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Maple Grove School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/washington/battle-ground-school-district-119/maple-grove-middle-school/55282"}
