When I showed the students what they were about start, they were very excited, especially my students who are visual learners!\r\n\r\nThe resources I received for my classroom included a huge box of markers, (mine were mostly dried out!), and a very large coloring poster that states, \"You Matter\". The idea behind this activity was to give my students an opportunity to work collaboratively and to have fun at the same time. Students today are so used to being on their devices, and this project is an opportunity for students to forget about the phones and enjoy each other's company. \r\n\r\nMy students allowed to work on the project on Wednesdays during the last 30 minutes of class. These 30 minutes are normally dedicated to the students for makeup work or questions, but if a student is all caught up, he/she can work on the poster. It's a great incentive for the students to complete their work on time. It's a fun reward!\r\n\r\nThis project has brought my students joy, and I love to see them smiling!
