The funds have enabled me to purchase essential supplies that have significantly enhanced the learning environment and overall experience for my students.\r\n\r\nWith the grant, I acquired a variety of items including book bins, flexible seating, binders, games, a teacher toolbox, treats, and many other valuable resources. These additions have had a profound impact on both the students and the classroom dynamics.\r\n\r\nBins have helped organize each students materials, making it easier for them to keep track of their supplies in our small groups. This has helped guide my students on how to appropriately take care of supplies and store items neatly.\r\n\r\nFlexible seating options have created a more comfortable and adaptable learning space. Students can now choose seating arrangements that best suit their learning styles, leading to increased engagement and participation. The flexible seating is also used as an incentive for good behavior and they work a little harder to make sure they are making the right choices throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nBinders have been instrumental in keeping students' work organized, promoting better study habits and a sense of responsibility. \r\n\r\nLearning games have introduced another element of fun and learning, encouraging teamwork and critical thinking skills. We also use these games as a tool for social skills and helping them learn that we won't always win the game.\r\n\r\nThe teacher toolbox has provided me with a one stop shop to hold all of my extra supplies for myself and for my students. This has been essential during lessons or small group, I'm not looking around trying to find paper clips. \r\n\r\nTreats have been a wonderful way to reward students for their hard work and achievements, boosting morale and motivation. They also feed the students who do not have snacks at home to eat for snack time.\r\n\r\nOverall, these supplies have transformed my classroom into a more organized, engaging, and supportive environment. The positive changes are evident in the students' enthusiasm and improved academic performance.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and support. Seeing all the supplies come in over time made my students feel like we had Christmas early. Everyday we had a package to open full of supplies to help them learn. I even have enough supplies to get me started for the next school year! Your contribution has made a significant difference in the lives of my students and has helped create a nurturing and effective learning space.","fullyFundedDate":1738279178284,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-every-learner-to-their-full-p/9084613/","projectTitle":"Empowering Every Learner to Their Full Potential","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hogan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8073929_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1722624307084","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8073929"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_75130","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":671,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":61,"percentAsian":15,"percentBlack":35,"percentWhite":14,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":28,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":75130,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mary Williams Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mary Williams Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/virginia/prince-william-county-public-schools/mary-williams-elementary-school/75130"}
