I wish you could have seen my students' faces when they saw the Amazon boxes delivered to my room from our Donors Choose project. They were in complete disbelief that people care enough about them to donate to our classroom. They were SO excited to see what was inside. There were literally squeals of excitement. \r\n\r\nThe supplies that I received have been so helpful this school year. First, it has allowed me to decorate my classroom! My students really appreciate having a happy atmosphere to come into every day that is decorated. Secondly, it has also allowed me to provide the most basic supply to my students... PENCILS! It is so nice to be able to provide pencils to my students and not be constantly worried about the cost associated with it.\r\n\r\nSometimes it is the little things in life that make us the happiest and at peace. One of my students told me the other day that she loves coming to my class because she feels \"comfortable and at home.\" I know a huge piece of this is because I have the basic supplies in my room that Donors Choose grants have provided my students!\r\n\r\nMy students and I cannot thank you enough for your generosity.
