The students are learning how to sound out words and use the magnetic letters to make those words. I also use the boards for the students to write words I say, so I can see there segmenting skills. They mentioned the games that came with the boards are fun to play and I have seen a growth in the students' reading. I was able to laminate new things over the summer to get reading for new reading group activities. My team is also using them to create our new math curriculum to keep over the years. I was able to create four different activities for each phonic rule in the UFLI book. My student will be able to use these activities year after year. They will help those student get a better understanding of the phonic rule they get stuck on. I am able to make extra copies if a student makes a mistake. I also can print extra copies for the new students that I might happen to get during the week. Printing in color has helped my students learn better to see actual color of items in the world. \r\n I am able to access their qr codes they have to sign in on the computer quickly. Those qr codes get lost very frequently and to have a printer right in the classroom, keeps my classroom schedule going.
