The 6-drawer cart and plastic storage bins have made it easier for students to access supplies and manipulatives independently, creating a more efficient and organized learning space.\r\n\r\nOne project that really showcased the use of these materials was our Scale Factor Project. Students selected familiar objects and recreated them at a larger scale using calculated measurements. The card stock you provided was perfect for building their enlarged models. The flexible seating gave students space to spread out and collaborate, while the organized supplies helped them stay focused on the math behind their designs.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new materials, they were genuinely excited. The new seating options and organized setup gave them a sense of ownership and pride in their classroom environment. It also created a more inviting and functional space that supports different learning styles.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will be working on geometry-based design challenges that involve using manipulatives and visual models to explore surface area and volume. Whether it's using interactive apps to strengthen math skills or diving into virtual labs in math, this technology allows students to learn in dynamic, hands-on ways that were previously out of reach.\r\n\r\nWhat excites our students the most is the interactive nature of the new product. I am able to interact with what is on the board much easier and when students have questions I can very quickly change things around. I've noticed increased participation during lessons, and even our quieter students are eager to contribute when using the device.\r\n\r\nOne student in particular has truly blossomed thanks to this technology. The student was often hesitant to join group discussions or share ideas. But with the new tool, they are become a leader during collaborative activities.
