Prior to using the portable screen, I had to utilize a screen that was plugged into the wall, which limited where I could set up and teach. It also decreased the amount of space available for students to sit and comfortably see the screen. \r\n\r\nSeveral of my students really appreciate having the technology closer to them, so that they can see it more clearly. Because this was one of the first projects I prepared for them this school year, students were especially excited to receive items that were made specifically for them. As fifth graders who move between rooms, organization can be a challenge. The drawstring bags and pencil pouches helped students keep their materials together, reduced lost items, and supported smoother transitions throughout the day. Students felt more prepared and confident, which positively influenced their readiness to learn.\r\nBeyond the immediate organizational benefits, this project also opened the door to future learning opportunities.
