It is because of you that our morning announcements show was able to enter the 21st century. There was a slight learning curve for the students who run the show, but it was nothing that they couldn't handle. \r\n\r\nWith all of the upgrades (digital video switcher, microphones, microphone stands, and other items) to our studio area, the show has been able to be enjoyable to watch. The day that all of the new gear was used I was hearing from teachers and students about how much better the show looked and sounded. The morning show went from something that kids \"had to watch\" to something that they actually look forward to now. \r\n\r\nWith your donations, you have not only allowed us to improve the production aspect of the show, but we have been able to add new aspects to the show. Because of the increase in video quality we can now make good use of the green screens that we had. Each morning, the students announce the \"National Day for...\" and they have started to use the green screen to post related pictures. I have included many opportunities for the students to make self to text and self to world comparisons. They are reading this text after studying WW II and its corresponding time period in history. Therefore, they have a foundation in which to analyze a personal narrative.\r\n\r\nI, again, thank you for giving my students this opportunity.
