It's been super-useful for students to get materials that they need quickly. Just today, we were able to quickly and easily print recipes that the students are cooking from. \r\n\r\nStudents love seeing their work printed in color; having a tangible product allows students to share their work with their peers and wider school community. Last week, 8th grade students created posters about their ideas for a 28th Amendment. Some chose to use art materials, while others decided to use the graphic design software Canva to create their posters. We were able to print the Canva posters to share in the hallway. \r\n\r\nHaving a color printer also allows me to also print interesting and relevant graphics that support and extend learning. For example, as students researched why different groups of people moved West in the U.S. in the mid-1800s, I was able to print a color poster to show what a dollar was worth in the mid-1800s, a question which many students asked about as they conducted their research.
