When we played it for the first time, I had students asking me the very next day when we could play again. It was exciting to see them so engaged with the activity, and I enjoyed watching them collaborate, problem-solve, and help each other understand the rules. The game naturally created a student-centered environment where everyone had a role, and it encouraged teamwork and communication in ways that felt fun and meaningful.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was seeing students make connections between the choices they made in the game and real-world decision-making. They discussed careers, budgeting, and planning for the future while still laughing and enjoying the activity. This made the learning feel authentic and gave them a safe space to explore ideas about responsibility and independence in a playful setting.","fullyFundedDate":1750454069674,"projectUrl":"project/preparing-tomorrows-leaders/9312769/","projectTitle":"Preparing Tomorrow's Leaders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Crosland","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5905840_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1645832008335","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5905840"},{"teacherId":9577013,"projectId":9304170,"letterContent":"I am so excited about how well this system has worked so far. I have used the clip chart as a visual to how many warnings student have and to remember to follow through with consequences. The ticket system has helped reinforce positive behaviors so much easier. The kids know exactly where to put the tickets, what they are for, and how they earn them. I really needed basic supplies like glue and pencils for in class work. The class has been much smoother this year. I was even able to finish some birthday cups and set up my class store with these donated items. KIDS ARE LOVING IT! You helped have a profound impact on the daily lives and long-term development of students with disabilities. The supplies you provided for the incentive program tailored to promote progress toward independence not only motivated students but also reinforced positive behaviors in a meaningful and respectful way. This program celebrates small victories, builds self-esteem, and nurtures a classroom culture of encouragement and achievement. Using the program to focus on essential life skills like independent toileting and smooth transitions between activities, helped my students build the foundation for greater autonomy and confidence. Creating a supportive and structured environment allows each student to grow at their own pace while feeling valued and empowered.\r\n\r\nYou helped address the nutritional needs of students who came to school hungry and further enhanced their ability to focus, learn, and participate meaningfully in class. By ensuring that all students begin their day with a nutritious breakfast, you helped remove a critical barrier to engagement and academic success.\r\n\r\nTogether, these efforts created a holistic and inclusive learning environment where students with disabilities were given the tools, support, and recognition they need to thrive—both inside and outside the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1744749283628,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-positive-behaviors-in-a-speci/9191219/","projectTitle":"Supporting Positive Behaviors in a Special Education Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Freer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9676239_orig.jpg?crop=1490,1490,x0,y273&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742424718964","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9676239"},{"teacherId":9676239,"projectId":8660763,"letterContent":"I hope this letter finds you well.
